Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

The Homesteads

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above on 30 July 2020, the Order will come into force on the 24 August 2020.

2) The general effect of the Proposed Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of Balstonia Drive and Painswick Avenue, northern leg
ii. at the junction of Balstonia Drive and Painswick Avenue, southern leg
iii. at the junction of Balstonia Drive and Kenneth Gardens
iv. at the junction of Balstonia Drive and Hillview Gardens
v. at the junction of Branksome Avenue and Orchard Drive
vi. at the junction of Morley Hill and Morley Link
vii. at the junction of Howell Road and Morley Link
viii. at the junction of Howell Road and Buckley Close
ix. at the junction of Howell Road and Milton Road
x. at the junction of Milton Road and Southend Road
xi. at the junction of Beckett Drive, Andrew Close and Graham Close
xii. at the junction of Beckett Drive and Kathleen Close
xiii. at the junction of Dunstable Road and First Avenue
xiv. at the junction of Dunstable Road and Boyce Road, north junction
xv. at the junction of Dunstable Road and Parry Close and opposite the junction
xvi. at the junction of Dunstable Road and Boyce Road, south junction and opposite the junction
xvii. on the southern side of Morley Link, from its junction with Morley Hill to its junction with Howell Road
xviii. on the western side of Milton Road, from the south western flank wall of 131 Milton Road in a southwards direction to the south eastern flank wall of 131 Milton Road
xix. on both sides of Dunstable Road, from junction with Boyce Road to junction with Parry Close
xx. on the northern side of Boyce Road, from the west flank wall of 34 Boyce Road in a westerly direction to the western flank wall of 48-52 Boyce Road

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers to conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
