Notice under Article 15(3) of an Application for Planning Permission accompanied by an Environmental Statement

Mulberry Strategic Land has applied to Thurrock Council for planning permission comprising: application for outline planning permission with some matters (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) reserved: proposed development of up to 830 dwellings (Use Class C3) if the Lower Thames Crossing is constructed (scenario 1) and up to 1,000 dwellings (Use Class C3) if the Lower Thames Crossing does not proceed (scenario 2), a new local road network including a vehicular / pedestrian railway crossing, a primary school, local centre and new areas of open space, including formal recreation.

An updated Environmental Statement has been submitted in accordance with the Town and Country (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations. Members of the public may inspect the planning application, plans, Environmental Statement and all other documents submitted with the application on the council's website at www.thurrock.gov.uk/search-planning-records

The Environmental Statement is available to purchase at a cost of £300 for printed copies or free of charge for electronic copies. The Non-Technical Summary is available to purchase at a cost of £10 for printed copies or free of charge for electronic copies.
