Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Little Thurrock Blackshots

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 28 November 2019, the order will come in to force on 13 January 2020.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions "No Waiting at Any Time" at the following locations:

a) the west side of Woodside Close, from the western flank wall of 11 Woodside Close in an south-eastern direction to the southern flank wall of 9 Woodside Close
b) both sides of Crowstone Road, from the western kerb line of Blackshots Lane in an westerly direction for a distance of 15m
c) the western side of Blackshots Lane, from the southern kerb line of Crowstone Road in an southerly direction to the southern flank wall of 59 Blackshots Lane
d) the western side of Blackshots Lane, from the northern kerb line of Crowstone Road in an northerly direction to the southern flank wall of 63 Blackshots Lane
e) both sides of Laird Avenue, from the eastern kerb line of Blackshots Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of 10m
f) the eastern side of Blackshots Lane, from the northern kerb line of Laird Avenue in an northerly direction for a distance of 10m
g) the eastern side of Blackshots Lane, from the southern kerb line of Laird Avenue in an southerly direction to the common boundary wall of 86 & 88 Blackshots Lane
h) the Access Road for 36 to 72 Lodge Lane, south side, from a point 22m west of the shared boundary of numbers 52/54 Access Road for 36 to 72 Lodge Lane in an easterly direction to a point 4m east of the shared boundary of numbers 52/54 Access Road for 36 to 72 Lodge Lane

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
