Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Little Thurrock Rectory no.3

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 11 May 2023, the order will come in to force on 15 June 2023.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the north side of Whitehall Road, from a point 1.5m west of the east flank wall of 57a Southend Road in an east direction for a distance of 7m
ii. on the south side of Whitehall Road, from a point 1.5m east of the west flank wall of 2 Whitehall Road in a west direction for a distance of 8m
iii. on the south side of Whitehall Road, from a point 1.5m east of the west flank wall of 30 Whitehall Road in a west direction for a distance of 14.5m
iv. on the north side of College Road, from a point 1.5m east of the west flank wall of 1/3 Collage Road in a west direction for a distance of 6.5m
v. on the south side of College Road, from the east flank wall of 2/3 St Johns Court in a west direction for a distance of 13.5m
vi. on the south side of College Road, from the common boundary of 8 College Road and 1 to 3 The Mews in an east direction for a distance of 18m
vii. on College Road, the south side from a point 1.5m west of the east property wall of 10 College Road in an east direction then north direction around the turning head to the east flank wall of 45/47 College Road

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
