Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Permit Parking Bay and No Waiting At Any Time

London Road, Purfleet

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

i. to revoke permit parking bay "Permit P2 holders only Mon-Fri 10am-3pm" on the southern side of London Road, from its shared property boundary wall of 1 and 2 Southland Terrace in a southeast direction to a point 11 metres south-east of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace
ii. to revoke "No Waiting at Any Time" on the southern side of London Road, from its shared property boundary wall of 1 and 2 Southland Terrace in a northwest direction to a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 8 Sussex Terrace
iii. to introduce permit parking bay "Permit P2 holders only Mon-Fri 10am-3pm" on the southern side of London Road, from a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace in a northwest direction to a point to a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 8 Sussex Terrace
iv. to introduce "No Waiting at Any Time" on the southern side of London Road, from a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace in a southeast direction to a point 11 metres south-east of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the address in paragraph (3) or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 1 November 2019. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
