Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Peartree Close, Ockendon

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 27 July 2023, the order will come in to force on 24 August 2023.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the north side of Peartree Close, along the kerb line from a west point in line with the south flank wall of 121 Peartree Close east for a distance of 10.5m
ii. on the north side of Peartree Close, along the kerb line from a point 8m east of the east property wall of 121 Peartree Close in an east direction for a distance of 9m
iii. on the south side Peartree Close, along the kerb line from a point opposite the west face of 121 Peartree Close, in an east direction for a distance of 28m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
