Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

St Michaels Road, Chadwell St Mary (no waiting)

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the north side of Linford Road, from the western kerb line of the western arm of St Michaels Road, in a west direction for a distance of 12m
ii. on the north side of Linford Road, from the eastern kerb line of the western arm of St Michaels Road, in an east direction for a distance of 10m
iii. on the west side of St Michaels Road western arm, from the northern kerb line of Linford Road in a northeast direction for a distance of 9m
iv. on the east side of St Michaels Road western arm, from the northern kerb line of Linford Road in a northeast direction for a distance of 15m
v. on the south side of St. Michaels Road, from a point 1m east of the western flank wall of 11 St Michaels Road in an east direction for a distance of 6m
vi. on the south side of St. Michaels Road, from a point 1m west of the western flank wall of 22 St Michaels Road in an east direction for a distance of 6m
vii. on the north side of Linford Road, from the western kerb line of the eastern arm of St Michaels Road, in a west direction for a distance of 6m
viii. on the north side of Linford Road, from the eastern kerb line of the eastern arm of St Michaels Road, in an east direction for a distance of 8m
ix. on the west side of St Michaels Road western arm, from the northern kerb line of Linford Road in a northwest direction for a distance of 15m
x. on the east side of St Michaels Road eastern arm, from the northern kerb line of Linford Road in a northwest direction for a distance of 10m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 25 November 2022. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
