Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) to introduce new waiting restrictions "No Waiting at Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on both sides of Chantry Crescent, from a point approximately 7m west of the eastern flank wall of 15 Chantry Crescent in a easterly direction to a point approximately 9m east of the eastern flank wall of 15 Chantry Crescent
ii. on the southwest side of Fairview Avenue, from a point approximately 1m northwest of the north-western flank wall of 4 Fairview Avenue in a southeast direction to a point approximately 3.5m southeast of the north-western flank wall of 4 Fairview Avenue
iii. on the southwest side of Fairview Avenue, from a point approximately 1.5m northwest of the south-eastern flank wall of 14 Fairview Avenue in a southeast direction to a point approximately 5.5m southeast of the south-eastern flank wall of 14 Fairview Avenue
iv. on the northeast side of Fairview Avenue, from the south-eastern flank wall of 5 Fairview Avenue in a northwest direction to a point approximately 4.5m northwest of the south-eastern flank wall of 5 Fairview Avenue
v. on the northeast side of Fairview Avenue, from the south-eastern flank wall of 15 Fairview Avenue in a southeast direction to a point approximately 5m southeast of the south-eastern flank wall of 15 Fairview Avenue
vi. on the southeast side of Hadfield Road, from a point approximately 3.5m northeast of the southwest flank wall of 21 Hadfield Road in a southwest direction to a point approximately 5m southwest of the southwest flank wall of 21 Hadfield Road
vii. on the northwest side of Rectory Road, from a point approximately 1m southwest of the southwest flank wall of 9 Rectory Terrace in a northeast direction to the shared boundary wall of 9 and 8 Rectory Terrace
viii. on the northwest side of Rectory Road, from the shared boundary wall of 7 and 8 Rectory Terrace in a northeast direction to the shared boundary wall of 6 and 7 Rectory Terrace
ix. on the northwest side of Rectory Road, from the shared boundary wall of 4 and 5 Rectory Terrace in a northeast direction to the shared boundary wall of 3 and 4 Rectory Terrace
x. on the southeast side of Rectory Road, from the north-eastern flank wall of the 5 Rectory Road in a southwest direction to a point approximately 4m southwest of the north-eastern flank wall of 5 Rectory Road
xi. on the northeast side of Wharf Road, from the southern flank wall of the 11 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to the northern flank wall of 13 Wharf Road
xii. on both sides of Wharf Road, from the southern flank wall of 13 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to the northern flank wall of 17 Wharf Road
xiii. on the southwest side of Wharf Road, from a point approximately 1m northwest of the shared boundary wall of 12 and 14 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to a point approximately 1m southeast of the northern flank wall of 18 Wharf Road
xiv. on the southwest side of Wharf Road, from the southern flank wall of 20 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to a point approximately 1m southeast of the northern flank wall of 22 Wharf Road
xv. on the southwest side of Wharf Road, from a point 4.5m southeast of the shared boundary wall of 22 and 24 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to a point approximately 10m northwest of the north-western kerb line of Hadfield Road
xvi. on the northeast side of Wharf Road, from the southern flank wall of 27 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to a point approximately 1m southeast of the northern flank wall of 29 Wharf Road
xvii. on the northeast side of Wharf Road, from a point 0.5m northwest of the southern flank wall of 31 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to a point approximately 1m northwest of the northern flank wall of 33 Wharf Road
xviii. on the northeast side of Wharf Road, from a point 0.5m northwest of the southern flank wall of 61 Wharf Road in a southeast direction to a point approximately 0.5m southeast of the northern flank wall of 63 Wharf Road
xix. on the southeast side of Grove Road, from a point approximately 1m northeast of the southwest flank wall of 10 Grove Road in a southwest direction to a point approximately 1m southwest of the north eastern flank wall of 8 Grove Road
xx. on the eastern side of Copland Road, from a point 8m southwest of the southern flank wall of 28 Copland Road in a southeast direction for a distance of approximately 15m
xxi. on the northwest side of Copland Road, from a point approximately 3m north of the northern flank wall of 21 Copland Road in a northeast direction to a point approximately 1.5m east of the shared boundary wall of 21b and 21c Copland Road
xxii. on the northeast side of Copland Road, from the northern flank wall of 41 Copland Road in a southeast direction for a distance of approximately 3.5m
xxiii. on the northeast side of Copland Road, from a point 2m north of the southern flank wall of 43 Copland Road in a southwest direction to the southern flank wall of 45 Copland Road
xxiv. on the west side of Copland Road, from a point 6m south of the southern flank wall of 38a Corringham Road in a southwest direction for a distance of approximately 11.5m

b) to revoke waiting restriction "No waiting At Any Time" at the following location(s):

i. on both sides of Hadfield Road, from a point approximately 7m northeast of the eastern kerb line of Fairview Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 2m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the address in paragraph (3) or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 6 February 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
