Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Waiting Restrictions

Stanford-le-Hope West and The Homesteads

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce Waiting Restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

a) on the southern kerb line of Billet Lane from a point 15m west of the western kerb line of Kynoch Court in an easterly direction for a distance of 48m
b) on the western kerb line of Runnymede Road, from a point 9m south of the northern flank wall of Rosslyn Court in a southern direction across the access to Rosslyn Court for a distance of 5m
c) on the south western kerb line of Hope Avenue at the junction of Alderman Walk, from a point opposite the shared boundary wall of No. 19 and 21 Alderman Walk in a south easterly direction for a distance of 12m
d) on the northern kerb line of Alderman Walk from the shared boundary wall of numbers 19 and 21 Alderman Walk northwards for a distance of 13m
e) on the southern kerb line of Corringham Road from the eastern flank wall of number 144 Corringham Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 10m
f) on the eastern kerb line of Butts Lane from a point 10m north of the northern kerb line of Prospect Avenue in a northerly direction for a distance of 7m
g) on the northern kerb line of Victoria Road from a point 4m northeast of the shared boundary line of numbers 109 and 111 Victoria Road in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 6m
h) at the junction of Bellmaine Avenue and Access Road for 26-40 and 189-235 Bellmaine Avenue
i) on the south-western kerb line of Cornwell Crescent, from the western flank wall of 14 Cornwell Crescent in an easterly direction to shared boundary wall of numbers 14 and 16 Cornwell Crescent

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk  to arrive on or before 1 October 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
