Public notice

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of Southend Road and Meadowland Way
ii. on the west side of Victoria Road, from a point 7m north of the north kerb line of London Road in a north direction for approximately 45.5m
iii. on the east side of Victoria Road from a point 10m north of the north kerb line of London Road in a north direction for approximately 10m
iv. on the east side of Victoria Road from a point 42m north of the north kerb line of London Road in a north direction for approximately 8.5m
v. on the northeast side of Butts Lane from a point 15m north of the north kerb line of Prospect Avenue in a northwest direction for approximately 10.5m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 7 July 2022. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
