Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Tilbury Area Intervention Programme (AIP) area 12, no.1

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of Thackeray Avenue and Kipling Avenue
ii. at the junction of Kipling Avenue and Shaw Crescent 
iii. at the junction of Kipling Avenue and Parker Avenue
iv. at the junction of Pepys Close and Parker Avenue
v. on the southern side of Pageant Close, from a point 2m south of the northern flank wall of 1 Pageant Close in a north westerly direction for a distance of 10m
vi. at the junction of Fielding Avenue and Thackeray 
vii. at the junction of Fielding Avenue and Dryden Place 
viii. at the junction of Fielding Avenue and Shaw Crescent
ix. at the junction of Fielding Avenue, Portsea Road, Parker Avenue and Galsworthy Road
x. on the northern side of Galsworthy Road, from a point 5.5m east of the eastern flank wall of 74 Galsworthy Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 13m
xi. on the northern side of Galsworthy Road, from a point 2m south of the shared boundary line of 32 and 34 Galsworthy Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 13m
xii. on the southern side of Galsworthy Road, from a point 3m east of the eastern flank wall of 1 Galsworthy Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 13m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 14 January 2022. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
