Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Tilbury Area Intervention Programme (AIP) area 12, no.2

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 31 March 2022, the order will come in to force on 29 April 2022.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of Galsworthy Road/Byron Gardens
ii. on the northern side of Byron Gardens from the common boundary of 97 and 99 Byron Gardens in a northeast direction to a point 6.5m south of the southern flank wall of 99 Byron Gardens
iii. on the southern side of Byron Gardens from the eastern flank wall of 54 Byron Gardens in a southeast direction to a point 4m south of the common boundary wall of 52 and 54 Byron Gardens
iv. on the southern side of Byron Gardens from common boundary of 1 and 3 Byron Gardens in a southeast direction to a point 2.5m south of the northern flank wall of 1 Byron Gardens
v. on the southern side of Byron Gardens from a point 4m west of the western flank wall of 155 Byron Garden in a southwest direction to the common boundary of 155 and 157 Byron Gardens
vi. at the junction of Byron Gardens /Brennan Road
vii. at the junction of Brennan Road/Sandhurst Road
viii. at the junction of Bryanston Road/Sandhurst Road
ix. at the junction of Sandhurst Road/Coleridge Road
x. at the junction of Chaucer Close/Coleridge Road
xi. on the north western side of Chaucer Close from a point 2m west of the eastern flank wall of 47 Chaucer Close in a northeast direction to the common boundary of 46 and 47 Chaucer Close
xii. on the south western side of Chaucer Close from a point 2m west of the eastern flank wall of 4 Chaucer Close in a southeast direction to a point 1.5m north of the common boundary of 4 and 5 Chaucer Close
xiii. on the southern side of Moore Avenue from a point 4m east of the eastern flank wall of 62 Moore Avenue in an east direction for a distance of 10m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
