Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Tilbury St Chads

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 22 October 2020, the order will come in to force on 23 November 2020.

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) To introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the locations specified below:

i. on the eastern side of St Chads Road, from a point 1m south of the northern flank wall of 146 St Chads Road in a northerly direction to a point 1m north of the southern flank wall of 148 St Chads Road
ii. at the junction of Gainsborough Avenue and Sullivan Road
iii. at the junction of Gainsborough Avenue and Elgar Gardens
iv. at the junction of Gainsborough Avenue and Poynder Road
v. at the junction of Gainsborough Avenue and Feenan Highway
vi. at the junction of Raphael Avenue and St Chads Road
vii. at the junction of Raphael Avenue and Sullivan Road
viii. at the junction of Raphael Avenue and Access Road to Leighton Gardens And Melba Gardens
ix. at the junction of Raphael Avenue and Poynder Road
x. at the junction of Raphael Avenue and Wren Walk
xi. at the junction of Raphael Avenue and Feenan Highway
xii. at the junction of Access Road to Leighton Gardens And Melba Gardens and Handel Crescent
xiii. at the junction of Feenan Highway and Lawrence Gardens
xiv. at the junction of Handel Crescent and St Chads Road
xv. at the junction of Handel Crescent and Feenan Highway
xvi. at the junction of Millais Place and St Chads Road
xvii. at the junction of Millais Place and Feenan Highway
xviii. at the junction of Brennan Road and Portsea Road
xix. at the junction of Brennan Road and Coleridge Road

b) To revoke the following waiting restriction "No Waiting Mon - Sat 8am - 6.30pm" at the location specified below:

i. at the junction of Handel Crescent and St Chads Road

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
