Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Waiting Restrictions

West Thurrock and South Stifford

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above on 3 October 2019, the Order will come into force on 31 October 2019.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce: "No Waiting At Any Time" at the locations specified below:

a) at the junction of Beacon Hill / Wingrove Drive and on the east side of the junction
b) Beacon Hill south and east side outside Sawston Court
c) at the junction of Beacon Hill / Linnet Way / Oakhill Road
d) at the eastern side of the junction of Linnet Way outside Dunnose Court and Wroxall Court
e) at the western side of the junction of Linnet Way outside Rookley Court and No. 20 Linnet Way
f) at the junction of Coniston Avenue / London Road
g) Coniston Avenue from the junction with London Road to a point 58m north eastwards to the parking bay outside of 16-52 Coniston Avenue
h) south side only of Coniston Avenue for 21m outside of number 42 to 52 Coniston Avenue
i) across the rear access to Nos. 58 to 76 Coniston Avenue
j) at the junction of Coniston Avenue / Windermere Avenue north-west side from a point 49m west of the centreline of Ambleside to the junction of Windermere Avenue and Kendal
k) at the junction of Coniston Avenue / Kendal
l) Windermere Avenue south side outside 52 to 62
m) across the Rear Access for 1 To 17 Windermere  Avenue
n) across the Rear Access for 64 To 70 Windermere Avenue
o) across the Rear Access for 31 to 39 Windermere Avenue
p) across the Rear Access for 74 to 80 Windermere Avenue
q) at the junction of Windermere Avenue and Ulverston
r) across the Rear Access for 49 to 61 Windermere Avenue
s) across the Rear Access for 110 to 118 Windermere Avenue
t) south side only outside Nos 6 to 13 Ulverston
u) at the junction of Credo Way and London Road, 15m in all directions
v) at the junction of Credo Way and Charlotte Place
w) at the junction of Credo Way and Chapel Close
x) across the rear access road of number 576 to 578 London Road, Grays

3)  A copy of the Made Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been compiled with, may, within 3 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
