Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

West Thurrock and South Stifford no.3

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of Fanns Rise and Quarry Mews
ii. on the northwest side of Marlow Avenue, from the common boundary wall line of 13 & 15 Marlow Avenue in a northwest direction for a distance of 24m
iii. on Mulberry Drive, from the northern flank wall of 25 Mulberry Drive in a northern direction along the south western kerb line around the turning head of Mulberry Drive to a point opposite the northern flank wall of 25 Mulberry Drive on the north eastern kerb
iv. at the junction of Griffiths Road and Bridgeland Road
v. at the junction of Parsonage Road and Oakley
vi. on Parsonage Road, from the boundary of No 149 and No 151 Parsonage Road in a south easterly direction around the turning area to point 7m east of the western flank wall on Nos 242 to 258 Parsonage Road
vii. on the western side of Mill Lane, from a point 2.5m north of the southern flank wall of 26a Mill Lane, in a northeast direction for a distance of 4.5m
viii. on the south eastern side of Palmerstone Road, from the northern flank wall of 8 Palmerstone Road, in a northeast direction to a point 3m southwest of 10 Palmerstone Road

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 3 September 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
