All adult social work jobs attract an annual £3,000 market supplement after successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme or a 6-month probationary period.
Children's social workers and team managers are offered a market factor competency salary supplement of £7,000 to £10,000 per year, subject to more than 6 months service and performance, along with a market factor retention payment of £2,000 to £3,000 per year – depending on team allocation – paid on an annual basis and subject to more than 12 months service.
