Sometimes things break or go wrong after the works have finished in your home.
Your contractor is liable for up to 12 months (depending on the type of repair needed) and has to put things right. This type of repair is called a 'defect' repair.
If you need a defect repair in your new kitchen, bathroom, or with other works, you should report it to us as you would for a normal repair. We will ask your contractor to contact you and carry out any necessary repairs.
After the 12 months liability period - and following the satisfactory completion of any defects - we will be responsible for repairs to your home.
