Thurrock Adult Community College

Welcome to Thurrock Adult Community College

We offer a huge variety of courses for beginners and those who want to improve their existing skills or job prospects. Our learners tell us they join to gain a qualification, to learn new skills, for a challenge, to prove they can, for fun, to meet new people, or all of these things!

In recognition of the challenging difficult times all of us are currently experiencing we have frozen our fees at the 2011/12 level. In fact many of our courses are designed to help people back into work, or prepare for the next stage in their career by increasing their skills.

If you don't see what you want or need, then phone us 0800 783 7733, or email: info@tacc.ac.uk, with your query; if there is enough interest we may be able to sort out that different course or approach. We also have on-site specialist adult career advisers - phone or pop in to make an appointment.

We particularly welcome new learners, and will take the time and care to ensure that you are on the right course for your needs. We know that some learners need extra support, either financial or practical so please let us know how we can help. Our team are experienced, qualified, friendly and supportive. We are well known for our warm welcome.

So whether new to learning or one of our existing loyal learners you will be very welcome - give learning a go, what have you got to lose?

Principal

Help adults get over their gremlins

Would you like to help adults get over their gremlins and improve their everyday reading, writing, number and language skills? We recruit and train volunteers to support learners who are improving their everyday maths and English skills. If you care about people and can communicate with adults and have time and enthusiasm, please contact us.
