Thurrock Adult Community College

Welcome to the 2008/2009 academic year at Thurrock Adult Community College. We offer a good range of quality part-time day and evening courses. Over 3000 people have joined one of our 400 plus courses offered throughout Thurrock. Our courses range from a few weeks to a full year and have been planned sympathetically to fit into busy adult lives and to help you get the most from your time with us.

The majority of our courses are subsidised by the Learning and Skills Council you pay just over a third of the cost of your course. Even so, if you have difficulty meeting the costs you may be entitled to some help, or to pay in instalments.

If you are unsure of the course that is right for you - then please ask. Our team are experienced, qualified, friendly and supportive. We are known for our warm welcome.

So remember it is never too late to learn and it doesn’t matter how well you did at school. Learning will keep your brain active, improve your confidence and can definitely be fun. Come and join us to brush up old skills, discover new talents and explore your potential.

Principal
