Nationality and proof of life

If you are a British national receiving a pension from an overseas country, we can validate the pension company's request for confirmation of your life and residence in the UK.

When you arrive for your appointment you must bring:

• the form to be stamped, already fully completed – we cannot advise on how to complete the form
• an English language translation of the form if it is in another language
• a valid passport or driver's licence
• a proof of address – for example, a council tax bill or bank statement

From 1 April 2024 the fee for this service is £48.
