The following schools provide specialist support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Aveley Primary School

Aveley Primary School has 10 places in total for pupils aged from 5 years-old to 11 years-old with autism. These places are within its Aveley Primary Resource Base

Pupils are accepted into the Primary Resource Base as spaces become available.

Dilkes Primary Academy

Dilkes Primary Academy has 10 places in total for pupils aged from 4 years-old to 11 years-old with social, emotional and mental health needs. These places are within its Personalised Learning Centre.

Meetings are usually arranged each term to offer parents and carers guidance on admissions.

Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred

Harris Primary Academy Chafford Hundred has places at its I CAN Nursery for pre-school pupils aged from 3 years-old to 4 years-old with speech or language impairments. The I CAN Nursery offers 8 morning places of 3 hours each, and 7 afternoon places of 3 hours each.

Meetings with parents and carers are usually arranged in:

  • March each year for summer term admissions after Easter
  • June each year for September admissions
  • September each year for January admissions

Lansdowne Primary Academy

Lansdowne Primary Academy has 10 places in total for pupils aged from 4 years-old to 11 years-old with social communication needs or moderate learning difficulty. These places are within its Lansdowne Resource Base.

Meetings are usually arranged in April each year to offer parents and carers guidance on admissions in September.

Ortu Corringham Primary Academy

Corringham Primary Academy has 20 places in total for pupils aged from 4 years-old to 11 years-old with developmental language disorder or speech sound disorder. These places are within its Speech and Language Enhanced Provision.

Meetings are usually arranged in April each year to offer parents and carers guidance on admissions in September.

Quarry Hill Academy

Quarry Hill Academy has 10 places in total for pupils aged from 4 years-old to 11 years-old with social, emotional and mental health needs. These places are within its Personalised Learning Centre 2.

Stanford-le-Hope Primary School

Stanford-le-Hope Primary School has places at its Nursery Base Assessment for pre-school pupils aged from 3 years-old to 4 years-old, along with 2 year-olds in receipt of government funding, who have social communication needs or developmental delay. The Nursery Base Assessment offers the equivalent of 3 full-time places, which are provided in blocks of 3 hours.

The school also has 5 places in total for pupils aged from 4 years-old to 11 years-old with visual impairment. These places are within its Resource Base for Children with Vision Impairment.

Stifford Clays Primary School

Stifford Clays Primary School has 10 places in total for pupils aged from 5 years-old to 11 years-old with autism. These places are within its Stifford Clays Primary Resource Base.

Pupils are accepted into the Stifford Clays Primary Resource Base as spaces become available.

Warren Primary School

Warren Primary School has 18 places in total for pupils aged from 3 years-old to 11 years-old with hearing loss. These places are within its additional resource provision for deaf children.
