Thurrock Enterprise Week returns in March 2023

22 December 2022

Thurrock Enterprise Week (#TEW2023) will return from Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March 2023 with a series of interactive workshops, networking opportunities, panel discussions and talks from industry experts, to support local businesses, inspire entrepreneurship and promote growth across the borough .

Throughout the week-long series of events, businesses will have the opportunity to explore themes such as:

  • strengthening and growing their business
  • staying up-to-date with economic development projects across Thurrock
  • championing women in the workplace – to coincide with International Women's Day on Wednesday 8 March 2023

The 2023 events will support Thurrock's budding young entrepreneurs. A special guest speaker will inspire local students to consider exciting opportunities for starting a business, whilst industry experts will highlight the support available to businesses in Thurrock.

Cllr Mark Coxshall, Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member for Growth, said: "The return of Thurrock Enterprise Week marks a new start to our relationship to businesses as we support and promote them to grow, innovate, and make a positive contribution to regenerated Thurrock.

"Our agenda will be to get business leaders considering and discussing a wide range of themes, helping them to develop the skills required to strengthen their business further and take their work within the community.

"At next year's event, we look forward to working with lots of different audiences, including local schools, and helping to nurture those with an interest in or passion for business. Our young people are the business leaders of tomorrow, and their involvement in the week can help sow the seeds of great business ideas for generations to come."

The full Thurrock Enterprise Week agenda of virtual and in-person events will be announced in the new year, alongside details of how to sign up to receive more information ahead of the week.
