Care leavers from across Thurrock explored their next steps into education, employment and training at a Pathways to Apprenticeships event hosted by Thurrock Council on Thursday 30 July.
Held at the Inspire Employability and Skills Hub in Grays, the event brought together colleges, training providers and careers specialists to help young people learn more about the opportunities available to them.
Attendees had the opportunity to speak directly with experts about apprenticeships, further education, training programmes and career pathways, as well as receive advice and guidance on planning their futures.
The event is part of Thurrock Council's ongoing commitment to support care leavers as they transition into independent adulthood and helping them access the skills, knowledge and opportunities needed to achieve their ambitions.
