Business owners and leaders are being offered the chance to learn how artificial intelligence (AI) can help solve everyday challenges and improve productivity through a series of free courses from Thames Freeport.
The first course starts in Grays on Thursday 1 October, with a second beginning on Wednesday 18 November.
Cllr Richard Bingley, Leader of Thurrock Council, said: "Thames Freeport is set to play a vital role in boosting the borough's economy. It will bring tens of thousands of jobs to the borough, many in exciting and cutting-edge industries, and attract more than £4.6 billion of investment across the wider economic zone over the next 25 years.
"We want to ensure that the opportunities Thames Freeport creates will benefit residents and businesses across the borough for many years to come, helping to develop new skills, support local businesses to grow and open up exciting career paths here in Thurrock."
The free courses are open to local businesses and require no previous knowledge of AI or technical expertise.
Designed to help participants understand and apply AI in practical ways, the programme will show how the technology can be used to improve efficiency, tackle common business challenges and support growth.
Funded by Thames Freeport and delivered by Avencera, the four-week programme includes an in-person workshop, flexible online learning and weekly support sessions to help participants apply AI in ways that are relevant to their business.
