NATIONAL HIGHWAYS LIMITED ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(2) NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
A1089 Trunk Road – Marshfoot Interchange Notice is hereby given that on the 27th August 2025, for a maximum period of 5 days, the following temporary traffic regulations will be in force on the A1089 Trunk Road in the Unitary Authority of Thurrock, to allow contractors to undertake signage installation in safety.
National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) (a), in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby makes the following temporary notice:
- 1. Subject as mentioned in article 3 below, during a period of 7 1/2 hours starting at 22:00 on Wednesday 27th August 2025 and on any subsequent day, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in the road leading from the southbound carriageway of the trunk road at Marshfoot Interchange (A126).
- 2. Traffic affected by the closure will be diverted southbound on the A1089 to the Asda Roundabout and return.
- 3. The provisions of this notice shall apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs and shall not apply to any vehicle being used in connection with the works or for police, traffic officer, fire and rescue authority or ambulance emergency response purposes, any vehicle engaged in winter maintenance activities, and any vehicle being driven in accordance with a direction given by a constable or traffic officer in uniform.
