Area 17, Grays, No 2 - (No Waiting At Any Time)
Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 10th August 2026, the order will come in to force on the 16th September 2026.
The general effect of the Order would be:
To revoke “No Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-4pm” at the following locations
On both sides of Heath View Road, from the southern kerb line of Long Lane in a southerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 15m.
On the southern side of Long Lane, from the western kerb line of Heath View Road in a westerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 21m
On the southern side of Long Lane, from the eastern kerb line of Heath View Road, in an easterly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 15m.
On the northern side of Long Lane, from the eastern flank wall of property number 243 Long Lane in an easterly direction following the kerb line to a point opposite 2m east of the common boundary of 204 and 206 Long Lane.
To revoke “No Waiting at any Time” restriction at the following location:
- On the western side of Haven Place, from a point 10m south of the western kerb line of Crowstone Road in a southerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 4m.
To introduce “No Waiting At Any Time” restrictions at the following locations:
On both sides of Heath View Road, from the southern kerb line of Long Lane in a southerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 15m.
On the southern side of Long Lane, from the western kerb line of Heath View Road in a westerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 21m
On the southern side of Long Lane, from the eastern kerb line of Heath View Road, in an easterly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 15m.
On the northern side of Long Lane, from the eastern flank wall of property number 243 Long Lane in an easterly direction following the kerb line to a point opposite 2m east of the common boundary of 204 and 206 Long Lane.
On both sides of Turp Avenue, from the eastern kerb line of Heath View Road in an easterly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 16m.
On the eastern side of Heath View Road, from the northern kerb line of Turp Avenue, in a northerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 14m.
On the eastern side of Heath View Road, from the southern kerb line of Turp Avenue, in a southerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 14m.
On both sides of Turp Avenue, from the western kerb line of Premier Avenue, in a westerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 14m.
On the western side of Premier Avenue, from the northern kerb line of Turp Avenue in a northerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 11m.
On the western side of Premier Avenue, from the southern kerb line of Turp Avenue in a southerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 10m.
On both sides of Heath View Gardens, from a point 5.5m east of the eastern kerb line of Heath View Road, in an easterly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 5m.

Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
