Aveley No.1 - No Waiting At Any Time & No Waiting Fri 6am - 2pm
Off-street Parking and Waiting Restrictions Order 2005 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).
The general effect of the Order would be to;
Introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following locations;-
On the western side of Chichester Close from the southern kerb line of Elm Road in a southerly direction following the kerb line for a distance of 20m.
Introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting Fri 6am-2pm” at the following locations;-
On the southern side, then eastern side then northern side of Elm Road from a point 1m east of the common property boundary of 33 Elm Road and 35 Chichester Close following the kerb line in a westerly direction, then southerly direction, then an easterly direction to the common boundary of 37/39 Chichester Close
A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively, the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. Any support/objection to the Proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 30th July 2026. Any comments may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
