Briceway, Corringham - No Waiting At Any Time
Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 27th August 2026, the order will come in to force on the 5th October 2026.
The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions “No Waiting At Any Time” at the following locations;-
On the west side of Gordon Road from the northern kerb line of Briceway, following the kerb line in a northerly direction for a distance of 10m.
On the west side of Gordon Road from the southern kerb line of Briceway, following the kerb line in a southerly direction for a distance of 10m.
On the north side of Briceway from the western kerb line of Gordon Road, following the kerb line in a south-westerly direction to a point 2.2m south of the southern flank wall of No. 1 Briceway.
On the south side of Briceway from the western kerb line of Gordon Road, following the kerb line in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 20m.
On the north and western side of Briceway from a point 2.8m south of the southern flank wall of No. 1 Briceway, following the kerb line, in a south then west direction for a distance of 10.3m.

Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
