Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic
Civic Square - Tilbury
1) The Borough Council of Thurrock, in exercise of their powers under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other powers, intends to make an Order the effect of which is to:
- Prohibit any vehicles (Except Buses) from parking At All Times on the south side of Civic Square along the southern kerbline from a point approx 37m from its junction with Kelvin Road for a distance of approx 20m in a westerly direction.
2) The purpose of the Order is to enable The Tilbury Christmas Bus to park.
3) The Order will come into force on the 17th December 2025 at 08:00hrs. for one day until 23:59hrs. Exact dates however will always be specified on https://one.network/? tm=GB147203027 It only applies to those days and times when indicated on site by the presence of the appropriate traffic signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4) It is expected that the event will take place within the above times, however the Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the event has taken place, whichever is the soonerÂ
