Clifford Road, Chafford Hundred - School Keep Clear Markings
On-street Parking and Waiting Restrictions Order 2005 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).
To introduce new School Keep Clear Markings “No stopping Mon-Fri 8am-5pm” on school entrance markings
On the western side of Clifford Road outside the eastern entrance to Tudor Court School from a point of the common boundary wall of Beecdale and Windsor Lodge, Clifford Road in a southernly direction for a distance of 40m
A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. Any support/objection to the Proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 13th August 2026. Any comments may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
