(Dell Road, Grays) (Revocation of Permit B Holders Only Parking Bays and Implementation of No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions)
On-street Parking and Waiting Restrictions Order 2005 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order (“the Proposed Order”).
The general effect of the Order would be to: -
Revoke Permit B Holders Only (Mon-Sat 9am-6pm) parking bays at the following location:
On eastern side of Dell Road from a point 21m north of the northern kerb line of Orsett Road in a northern direction for a distance of 52m.
Implement “No Waiting At Any Time” restrictions at the following location:
On the eastern side of Dell Road from a point 21m north of the northern kerb line of Orsett Road in a northern direction for a distance of 21m.
On the eastern side of Dell Road from a point 46.8m north of the northern kerb line of Orsett Road in a northern direction for a distance of 17.2m.
On both sides of the access road leading to the new care home from the eastern kerb line of Dell Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 7.7m.
A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. Any support/objection to the Proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 8th October 2026. Any comments may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
