Public notice

1) The Borough Council of Thurrock gives notice that under Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers, it is considering a proposal to install Speed Cushions on Blackshots Lane at the following locations:-

• On Blackshots Lane, outside no 97A Blackshots Lane
• On Blackshots Lane, at common boundary of 94 and 92 Blackshots Lane
• On Blackshots Lane, approximately 5m north of common boundary of no 60 and 62 Blackshots Lane
• On Blackshots Lane, outside no’s 14 and 16 Blackshots Lane

2)  The speed cushions be installed in sets of 2. The cushions would have a maximum width of 1.7 metres, and length of 3.0 metres long and have a maximum height of 75 millimetres. Speed Cushions outside no’s 14 and 16 Blackshots Lane will be staggered

3) Copies of the plans detailing the proposals can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively, the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via TransportDelivery@thurrock.gov.uk. 4) Any person wishing to comment on the proposals should do so in writing to the address above or by e-mail to TransportDelivery@thurrock.gov.uk by no later than 31st July 2025
