Public notice

1)  The Borough Council of Thurrock gives notice that under Section 90(A-F) of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers, it is considering a proposal to install 10 speed humps on Billet Lane, 2 speed tables on Rainbow Lane, Stanford-le-Hope in the positions specified below:  

a.    From 9 m east on Billet Lane of its junction with Corringham Road 

b.    At 3.7 m west from the shared boundary of 5 & 6 Billet Lane 

c.    At 16 m east from the eastern boundary kerb of Kynoch Close 

d.    At 22 m west from the western boundary wall of 28 Billet Lane 

e.    At the shared boundary 31/32 Billet Lane 

f.           At the shared boundary of 39/40 Billet Lane 

g.    At the shared boundary of 45/46 Billet Lane 

h.    At the shared boundary of 53/54 Billet Lane 

i.          At the shared boundary of 59/60 Billet Lane 

j.          At the shared boundary of 65/66 Billet Lane

k.    At the shared boundary of 10/12 Rainbow Lane

l.           At the shared boundary of 26/28 Rainbow Lane 

2) All speed tables will be a maximum width of 7 meters, and length of 3 meters long and have a maximum height of 75 millimetres.

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via transportdelivery@thurrock.gov.uk.
