Public notice

1. Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as “the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 30^th April 2026 the order will come into force on the 5^th June 2026

2. The general effect of the Order would 

1. To revoke “No Waiting At Any Time” parking restriction at the location(s) specified below:

    

   1. On the northern side of River View from the western property wall of No. 32 River View in an easterly direction for a distance of 32m

       

2. To introduce new parking restrictions “Mon-Sat 8am-5pm 1hr no return within 4hrs” at the following location(s); 

1. On the southern side of River View from the eastern property wall of No. 47 River View in a westerly direction for a distance of 25m

2. On the northern side of River View from the western property wall of No. 32 River View in an easterly direction for a distance of 32m

3. A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively they can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm), by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk. 4. Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
