Watch the iconic award-winning British film, 'Pride' at Thameside Theatre Foyer.

Written by Stephen Beresford and based on an extraordinary true story, the film is and follows a group of gay and lesbian activists during the 1980s who raised money to help families affected by the British miners strike in 1984. It's a story of class and sexuality intersecting, with two communities coming together during a time when division was present and the solidarity was needed.

Pride is an important, moving and uplifting film marking a significant moment in recent LGBT history.

Directed by Matthew Warchus, starring George MacKay, Andrew Scott, Imelda Staunton and Dominic West, the film was first released in 2014.

Arrive from 7pm for drinks in the bar. Those under 18 years-old must be accompanied by an adult. ID may be requested at the bar.
