Essex Book Festival is a month of literary and book events across 45 venues in Thurrock, Essex and Southend.
On Tuesday 26 March, Duncan Barrett will be at Corringham Library talking about East End London in the 1950s and the Tate and Lyle factory. On Thursday 28 March, join super-seller crime author Kimberley Chambers at Belhus Library in the South Ockendon Centre.
Grays Library was opened in 1903 in a building built with money from the Carnegie Foundation.
The staff at Grays Library are here to help you wherever possible. We have a wealth of information within our library as well as reading for pleasure material in book or CD form. There is also a wide selection of DVDs and music, whatever your taste.
There are public toilets on the ground floor of the library. There is 1 toilet with access for disabled people, using a RADAR key.
