Items due for return between 1 January and 31 July have had their loan dates extended automatically – to 1 September for libraries that reopened in July, and to 2 November for other libraries. Stanford-le-Hope Library

Stanford-le-Hope Library was purpose built in 1958 and holds over 8,000 books plus videos. There is 1 public toilet with access for disabled people.

Stanford-le-Hope has a literary past with the author Joseph Conrad having been a resident at the turn of the last century.
