Aveley library re-opens for self-service from 10am to 5pm on Wednesdays from October.
Stanford-le-Hope Library
The library was purpose built in 1958 and holds over 8,000 books and DVDs. There is 1 public toilet with access for disabled people.
Stanford-le-Hope has a literary past with the author Joseph Conrad having been a resident at the turn of the last century.
