Thames Enterprise Park planning permission unlocks 5,500 Thurrock jobs

10 June 2022
Thames Enterprise Park, one of the largest brownfield regeneration projects in the southeast of England, has reached a significant milestone after gaining planning permission last night (Thursday 9 June 2022).
The council-backed development will bring new economic life into the former Coryton oil refinery site that closed in 2012, creating up to 5,500 new jobs and adding more than £350million per year to the economy, snowballing to more than £3.5billion over the first 10 years of operation.
