Coming to the Thameside Complex, a free, interactive show that invites families to enter a fantastical future world where time is running out.
In this playful, immersive installation, inspired by National Gallery paintings, families spark their imaginations to create extraordinary changes and envision a more sustainable future. It is created by the Makers of Imaginary Worlds company.
Alongside the interactive show, HOME:Zero, is a new exhibition at the Thurrock Museum called From Here to Zero.
It examines Thurrock’s industrial heritage and journey towards net zero. It also features ‘Letters From the Global South’, a powerful pop up exhibition highlighting the impact of the climate and nature crisis on vulnerable communities across the world.
These events will instigate the set up of a new Thurrock Community Energy Group.
HOME:Zero runs at the Thameside Theatre, from Wednesday 13 August to Monday 18 August. To book your free tickets go to: Events for 13/08/2025
The exhibition by Thurrock Museum is in the foyer of the Thameside Complex and runs from Saturday 9 August to Thursday 11 September.
