Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Area Intervention Programme (AIP) 4 Stanford-le-Hope West

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 25 April 2024, the order will come in to force on 23 May 2024.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following location(s):

i. on the west side of St Margarets Avenue from the south side of the property wall of 1, Chale Court, St Margarets Avenue in a north direction for a distance of 32m
ii. on the west side of Butts Lane from the south property wall of 2 Oxford Road in a southwest direction following the kerb line for a distance of 14m
iii. on the west side of Butts Lane from the east property wall of 1A Oxford Road in a northwest direction following the kerb line for a distance of 15m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by phoning 01375 652652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
