Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay

Belhus no.9

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) to introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay, at the location(s) specified below:

i. on the north side of Cruick Avenue, from a point 2m east of the common boundary wall of 42 and 44 Cruick Avenue in a west direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
ii. on the south side of Cruick Avenue, from a point 2m east of the common boundary wall of 26 and 28 Cruick Avenue in a west direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
iii. on the west side of Cruick Avenue opposite 24 Cruick Avenue, from a point 1.8m north of the common boundary wall of 36 and 38 Cruick Avenue in a south direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m

b) to revoke a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location(s) specified below:

i. on the west side of turning area of Cruick Avenue opposite 44 Cruick Avenue (3 disabled parking bays), from a point 1.50m west of the common boundary wall of 22 and 24 Cruick Avenue in an east direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
ii. on the north side of Fullarton Crescent, from a point 7.4m east of east flank wall of 38 Fullarton Crescent in an east direction for a distance of approximately 3m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which, it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 27 October 2023. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
