Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Blackshots Lane and Brookmans Avenue, Grays

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("The 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. on the west side of Blackshots Lane, from a point 3m south of the common boundary wall of 121 and 123 Blackshots Lane in a south direction following the kerb line to the common boundary of 115 and 117 Blackshots Lane
ii. on the east side of Blackshots Lane, from the northern kerb line of Brookmans Avenue in a north direction following the kerb line for a distance of 11m
iii. on the east side of Blackshots Lane, from the southern kerb line of Brookmans Avenue in a south direction following the kerb line for a distance of 14m
iv. on both sides of Brookmans Avenue, from the eastern kerb line of Blackshots Lane following the kerb line for a distance of 14m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 15 March 2024. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
