Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Chadwell St Mary Area Intervention Programme (AIP) area 11, no.2

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 17 August 2023, the order will come in to force on 14 September 2023.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to revoke No Waiting At Any Time at the location specified below:

i. at the junction of St Johns Road and Giffordside
ii. on the south side of St Johns Road, from a point 1m west of the east flank wall of 1 St Johns Road in a northeast direction for a distance of 9.5m
iii. on the south side of Hill House Drive, from a point 3m west of the east flank wall of 119 Hill House Drive in a southeast direction to a point 6m south of the north flank wall off 117 Hill House Drive
iv. on the north side of Hill House Drive, from a point 5m west of the east flank wall of 115 Hill House Drive in a northeast direction to the common boundary wall of 155 and 157 Hill House Drive

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
