Notice under Article 15(3) of an Application for Planning Permission accompanied by an Environmental Statement

Planning application reference: 16/01232/OUT
Location: land for development, Muckingford Road, Linford.

Mulberry Strategic Land has applied to Thurrock Council for planning permission comprising:

  • application for outline planning permission with some matters (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) reserved
  • proposed development of:
    • up to 830 dwellings (Use Class C3) if the Lower Thames Crossing is constructed (scenario 1)
    • up to 1,000 dwellings (Use Class C3) if the Lower Thames Crossing does not proceed (scenario 2)
    • a new local road network, including a vehicular / pedestrian railway crossing
    • a primary school
    • local centre and new areas of open space, including formal recreation

An updated Environmental Statement Addendum has been submitted in accordance with the Town and Country (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations.  Members of the public may inspect the planning application, plans, Environmental Statement(s) and all other documents submitted with the application on the council's website at www.thurrock.gov.uk/search-planning-records

The Environmental Statement Addendum is available to purchase as a printed copy for £50 plus postage and packaging, or as an electronic copy for £5. A non-technical summary is available free of charge as either a printed copy or electronic copy.
