Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay

Ockendon no.8

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 18 January 2024, the order will come in to force on the 22nd of February 2024.

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) to introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay, at the locations specified below:

i. on the west side of Dalroy Close, from a point 1.5m south of south flank wall of 9 Dalroy Close in a south direction for a distance of approximately 5.1m
ii. on the east side of Dalroy Close, from a point 1.4m south of south flank wall of 20 Dalroy Close in a south direction for a distance of approximately 5.1m

b) to revoke a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location specified below:

i. on the east side of Dalroy Close, from a point 0.4m south of south flank wall of 20 Dalroy Close in a south direction for a distance of approximately 5.0m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
