Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Oliver Road, Burnley Road and Watson Close, West Thurrock

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 18 April 2024, the order will come in to force on 20 May 2024.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following location(s):

i. on the east side of Oliver Road, from its junction with Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction for a distance of 68m
ii. on the east side of Oliver Road, from a point 128m south of its junction with Oliver Close following the kerb line in a southeast direction for a distance of 165m
iii. on the northeast side of Oliver Road, from a point 303m south of its junction with Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction for a distance of 64m
iv. on the northeast side of Oliver Road, from a point 376m south of its junction with Oliver Close following the kerb line in a southeast direction for a distance of 83m
v. on the northeast side of Oliver Road, from a point 469m south of its junction with Oliver Close following the kerb line in a southeast direction to the north kerb line of Watson Close
vi. on the both sides of Watson Close from the east kerb line of Oliver Road in an east direction for a distance of 15m
vii. on the southeast side of Burnley Road, from the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a southwest direction for a distance of 73.5m
viii. on the southwest side of Burnley Road, from a point 106.5m southwest of the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a west direction for a distance of 18m
ix. on the southwest side of Burnley Road, from a point 178.5m southwest of the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a west direction for a distance of 26.5m
x. on the south side of Burnley Road, from a point 228m southwest of the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a west direction for a distance of 27m
xi. on the west side of Oliver Road, from a point 6m south of the south kerb line of Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction for a distance of 136.5m
xii. on the southwest side of Oliver Road, from a point 152.5m south of the south kerb line of Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction for a distance of 84.5m
xiii. on the southwest side of Oliver Road, from a point 289.5m southeast of the south kerb line of Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction for a distance of 20.5m
xiv. on the southwest side of Oliver Road, from a point 355.5m southeast of the south kerb line of Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction for a distance of 19m
xv. on the southwest side of Oliver Road, from a point 440.5m southeast of the south kerb line of Oliver Close following the kerb line in a south direction to a point opposite the south kerb line of Watson Close
xvi. on the northeast side of Burnley Road, from a point opposite the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a south and then northwest direction for a distance of 100m
xvii. on the northeast side of Burnley Road, from a point 108m southwest of the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a northwest direction for a distance of 72m
xviii. on the northeast side of Burnley Road, from a point 195m southwest of the south kerb line of Watson Close following the kerb line in a northwest direction for a distance of 63m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by phoning 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
