PROVISION OF ROUND TOP SPEED HUMPS ON BRANKSOME AVENUE, THE HOMESTEADS
Section 90
The Borough Council of Thurrock gives notice that under Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers, it is considering a proposal to install round top speed humps on Branksome Avenue at the following locations: -
On Branksome Avenue, outside No 47 Branksome Avenue
On Branksome Avenue, outside No 97 Branksome Avenue
On Branksome Avenue, outside No 201/203 Branksome Avenue
On Branksome Avenue, outside No 192 Branksome Avenue
Round top speed humps be installed parallel to the priority working island / build out. Each edge of the round top speed hump will be offset 300mm from the kerb and will be 3.7m in length
Copies of the plans detailing the proposals can be viewed on Thurrock Council’s website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices. Alternatively the proposals can be viewed by appointment during normal office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm) by contacting the Transport Delivery Team via TransportDelivery@thurrock.gov.uk. Any person wishing to comment on the proposals should do so in writing to the address above or by e-mail to TransportDelivery@thurrock.gov.uk by no later than 2nd July 2026
