Major incidents at industrial sites

Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Regulations apply to businesses that manufacture, store or use dangerous substances in amounts that exceed certain thresholds.

The COMAH regulations make sure businesses take all necessary measures to prevent major accidents involving dangerous substances and limit the consequences to people and the environment of any major accidents which do occur.
