Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action
We are working with partners in Thurrock to provide help for those most in need during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action is a partnership led by the council, Stronger Together and Thurrock CVS, working with local organisations to safely coordinate support and volunteers.
Help for residents
Our priority is to help residents who
- must stay at home and self-isolate, either because they have symptoms or because they have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace
- do not have friends or family who can help
We can help with:
- shopping for food
- collecting medicines
- social contact
Separately, if you are employed or self-employed on a low income and have to self-isolate at home, you may be entitled to a one-off Test and Trace Support payment.
How to get help
If you or someone you know is vulnerable – without friends or family to help – and in need of help with shopping, medicine or other vital support, please send us details using the form below.
Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action form
Our team will respond as soon as possible.
We can provide help more quickly if you send us all the details we need to know by using the form. If you can't answer all the questions on the form, please complete as much as you can. If you are unable to use the form, you can also phone our contact centre.
Please don’t phone this number unless you cannot use the form as it may block the phone line for someone who needs very urgent assistance.
