How you can film here
Thurrock has been used as a location for filming since the 1920s. Companies choose our sites for their authenticity, superb settings, convenience for travel and the excellent support services.
Filming in Thurrock is managed by Thurrock Film Office. Visit the Thurrock Film Office website for everything you need to complete and submit your application using FilmApp. The team will guide you through the next steps, including permits, location access, and any additional requirements.
If you have any questions or need advice, please email: info@thurrockfilmoffice.co.uk
Our full day rates may be negotiable if filming is to take place over several days.
We will give prices on application for filming that involves a very large crew of more than 50 people.
There may be additional fees if filming requires traffic management, parking, temporary structures or use of drones – ask for details.
The charges above do not apply for students or individuals taking stills or recording film for personal use.
