Freedom of information response

We wanted to firstly know if you are currently scanning deceased cats found by the roadside and, if not, is this something we can work with the council to obtain a satisfactory result for residents. 
Secondly, we understand that some local authorities offer a microchipping service for dogs. We are also aware that dog wardens have, in some areas, extended this service to cats too. Given the upcoming legislation, is this a service the council would be willing to looking into offering, if it is not something you currently do, and/or extending the service to cats?
